How do I install my WorldBloxer map?

Java edition / single-user

  1. Click on the download-link in the email received after purchase.
  2. Download the zip-file to your computer.
  3. Unpack and save in C:\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves for Windows, and
    /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/minecraft for Mac.
    (Also described here: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/.minecraft).
  4. Your WorldBoxer map(s) should now be in your list of worlds in ‘Singleplayer’ mode in Minecraft.
  5. You will probably see two Minecraft maps for the same area, one includes terrain heights, and one (named ‘…_flat’) is built on flat ground. For help to choose between the maps with or without terrain, read our faq:WorldBloxer faq
  6. WorldBloxer maps are created in Minecraft 1.12.2. To play in the newest version, you have to first load the map in an earlier version (eg. 1.13.2), save the map, and then you can open in the newest version.
  7. Check the readme.txt for further information.

Minecraft for Windows10 /Minecraft:Education Edition (use the bedrock format)

  • Click on the download-link in the email received after purchase.
  • Download the zip-file to your computer.
  • Create a new world in Minecraft (Windows 10 or M:EE), save it. Exit Minecraft.
  • Go to (replace [YOURNAME] with your user name):

For Windows10 C:\Users\YOURNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds

For Minecraft: Education Edition C:\Users\YORNAME\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds

  • Find the new world that you just saved in Minecraft and replace the db-folder with the db-folder from the downloaded zipfile.
  • Have fun!

Convert from Bedrock to .mcworld 

  1. Click on the download-link in the email received after purchase.
  2. Download the zip-file to your computer.
  3. Unzip the file.
  4. Choose a Minecraft map folder and open it. You will now see the directories ‘advancements’, ‘data’, ‘db’, etc. and the files ‘chunks.dat’, ‘level.dat’ etc.
  5. Select all content.
  6. Zip the content into a new .zip-file that you give the name of your map.
  7. Rename the new file [YOURMAPNAME].zip to  [YOURMAPNAME].mcworld
  8. You are done – have fun!
